Spinning the Web is scheduled to run for a period of 21 months, from January 2002 to September 2003 research having begun in February 2002 and the process of specifying and procuring systems and suppliers having been undertaken during the early months of the project. Digitisation and database indexing will take place between October 2002 and September 2003.
